Great, great question. Allow me to try to express my current thoughts.
(This will be a bit disjointed. I havent really thought it thru).
First, a bit of context on where i come from that is germaine. Im in the at higher risk age range. BMI is not in obese range, but not at college weight. I have a 92 year old mother, still independent. Living in a supervised elder community (not assisted living).
The data i see leads me to a couple places. Hospitalization and deaths coming out of elder/nursing home type communities is a large % of cases. Something needs to be done to further protect these communities.
This is where my mom comes into the equation. By stronger lock down of these type facilities, i have to face the possibility i would need to "show evidence" im clean to even step onto campus to see her. For the duration of this. Which MIGHT mean, i may never see her alive, again. Same would apply to all the workers in said facility.
Such is the horns of the dilemna i find myself. If i accept what i must do to see her, under this scenario, i can accept a serology test that demonstrates im clean. I am uncertain if tracking via phone as you asked is a required part. Just havent mulled that part over.
Mitigations wont change if i get this bug, it does change when i get it. That is a fact i must face as we move forward. (Unless it morphs, etc)
Again, great question.
